EXTRUDED POLYSTYRENE

Extruded polystyrene (XPS) is a thermal insulating material used in the construction industry. It is made of crude oil and a uniform foam. It is obtained from a mixture of polystyrene and gas which makes it light and which gives it this orange-beige color. Often called by its trade name “polyfoam”, it comes in the form of large plates which can be mainly used for screed and exterior insulation.
